Our last day in the Galapagos. We’ve seen a lot and had a great time. This morning we set our luggage outside our cabin door before going to breakfast. After our buffet breakfast we boarded the zodiak for the final trip to shore. We landed on San Cristobal Island in the town of “Puerto Baquerizo Moreno”. First we visited the interpretation center then we had about an hour to shop in town before the bus took us to the airport. The plane stopped in Guayaquil for refueling before continuing on to Quito. In Quito a representative of Columbus Travel picked us up at the airport and drove us to the Swissotel where we spend the night. We took a taxi to the Indian Market for on last shopping spree then walked a few blocks to our favorite sidewalk restaurant, “Quito Tempo”. That makes 4 times we’ve eaten here and we’ve had the same waiter each time. He remembered us and seemed really pleased to see us again. We’ve got a 4:30 AM wake-up call for tomorrow.
